Cristiano Ronaldo has further validated his Greatest of all Time status after netting his 100th international goal in Portugal’s 2-0 win over Sweden in their UEFA Nations League clash.

The 35-year-old Juventus superstar became the second player in history to net a century of goals for his country after Iranian legend Ali Daei who has 109 goals credited to him. Malaysia’s Mokhtar Dahari ranks third on the chart with 85 goals while India’s Sunil Chhetri is next with the 36-year-old already recorded 72 international goals, two ahead of Lionel Messi. The Old Lady attacker reached the milestone in style after firing an unstoppable freekick into the top corner of the post to give his side the lead just before the half-time whistle.

He then completed his brace in the 72nd minute with another stunning strike as his side cruised to a 2-0 win after the meeting. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner opened his international goal account in his side’s opening Euro 2004 game against Greece. The 35-year-old scored a late minute goal, but it was not enough to stop them from losing the match – a defeat which also repeated itself in the final of the championship. Ronaldo was on the scores sheet once again in the semifinals when they battled the Netherlands towards the latter part of the continental tourney. The former Man United winger rose to become Portugal’s all-time highest goals scorer after scoring in a friendly game against Cameroon in 2014. Legit.ng earlier reported that Master KG’s Jerusalema just does not stop giving! World-famous soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo got involved with the global dance revolution and Master KG was blown away.

Seeing the unity Jerusalema has created all over the globe is truly heartwarming. Watching all the clips have struck many smiles, tears and instilled a lot of hope during a time where it is needed most.
