Bbnaija: ‘why i left America for Nigeria’ – Tolanibaj.

Published

The BBNaija 2020 Lockdown journey was recently cut short for one of the housemates, Tolani Baj, and she spoke with Legit.ng  on her time in the house among other things.

In the interview with Legit.ng’s correspondent, Abisola Alawode, Tolani touched on a question that had been on the minds of a lot of people which is about why she decided to leave America and come back to Nigeria. According to the young lady, she felt that Nigeria was the perfect place for her to become a boss and that she knew she would be great in the country. Tolani said that she had always dreamt about becoming a boss and she did not see herself building anything in America from start to finish. In her words: “I moved back to Nigeria because I want to be a boss, I’ve always dreamt about being a boss. I did not see myself building anything in America from start to finish. It was only Nigeria that I believe that if I want to have a house, I can build it myself, if I want to build a brand, its Nigeria that I can start from scratch and be somebody and I just always knew that it was Nigeria that I would become great. I got connected to people quickly, people ready to work with me, people ready to build something with me. So I’m just like I can come here, leverage on it and become someone successful so I took the chance, took the risk and here I am today.”

Also in the interview, Tolani spoke on her relationship with Prince. She revealed her love for chocolaty men and added that Prince was someone she could have a conversation with about many interesting things. Tolani also said that she does not blame her eviction on her team because they kept her in the house till week six. She also said that she did not really have a strategy in the house except to be herself and to sell her brand. Just recently, Legit.ng reported that BBNaija’s Erica spoke in her first interview after her disqualification from the reality show. The young lady apologised for the horrible words she said to Laycon.

According to her, she does not hate him and she feels their rift can be settled. Erica also said that things went wrong between them after he decided to stop talking to her but was talking about her to others.

Bruno Fernandes’s penalty hands United a first home win in a match of two penalties

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer concedes his side were ‘lucky’ that West Brom had a penalty decision overturned in their 1-0 win at Old Trafford.

After a goalless first 45 minutes, Slaven Bilic’s side were awarded a spot-kick early in the second half after referee David Coote ruled that Bruno Fernandes had fouled Conor Gallagher in the box.

VAR however intervened with the decision eventually changed after Coote reviewed the incident on the sideline. Replays suggested Fernandes did make some contact with the ball before the man.

The Red Devils made the most of the call and were themselves awarded a penalty 10 minutes later which Fernandes tucked away at the second time of asking after his first attempt was saved only for goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to be caught coming of his line.

Solskjaer, referencing Aston Villa’s similarly overturned last-minute spot-kick in their 2-1 home defeat to Brighton earlier on Saturday, told BT Sport he thought both penalties should have been awarded.

He said: “I looked at the penalty this afternoon at Villa-Brighton, and there’s contact on the ball and the man. In my head, it might be a penalty, and there as well.

With this victory, United see themselves in the top half of the table for the first time this seasin with 13 points from 9 games at 8th position.

While for West Brom, they remain in the bottom three with only 3 points.

United will host Istanbul Basaksehir midweek, while also to play away to Southampton on Sunday.
