Bbnaija: Lucy gets evicted.

Published

on

Lucy has come to the end of her journey in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house after spending seven weeks in the competition.

The housemate alongside some other contestants had been put up for possible eviction by fellow housemates earlier on in the week. This makes Lucy the 12th housemate to be evicted from the BBNaija house. After Ebuka announced her name, Lucy refused to hug fellow housemates who tried to bid her farewell. During a brief chat with Ebuka, Lucy disclosed that the decision not to hug the housemates was simply because she didn’t want to cry. Recall that some days ago, Big Brother left the housemates surprised after he introduced a new eviction and nomination method in the game. Prior to this week, four contestants with the least votes from the public were put up for possible eviction, after which fellow housemates were individually called into the diary room to evict two contestants from those who have been put up.

However, the new eviction process leaves the fate of housemates at the hands of their fans and supporters.

In line with recent happenings in the country, one thing Nigerians demanded relentlessly was that President Muhammadu Buhari addressed them.

After days of asking, he eventually did on October 22, and his speech left a trail of mixed reactions from nationals. Nigerian artiste Small Doctor was one of the disappointed bunch. According to the musician, Buhari’s nationwide broadcast left him numb. He stated that he has suffered as a Nigerian but his children must not go through the same experience.

He said:

“That speech Just Made me go numb. I have suffered, my kids must not suffer. #EndsSARS #EndBuhari.”
