Nigerian man who slapped his wife during an argument, Is bathed with hot water by his wife while he slept (Photos)

It has been said that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. This unfortunately bitter truth was experienced by a Nigerian man after he slapped his wife during a heated argument and was later left battling for his life when his said wife got even with him.

A Nigerian man identified as Oyinkro Miebode is currently writhing in severe pains after his wife, Maureen poured hot water on him while he was asleep in their home in Yenogoa, Bayelsa State on June 3th.

A Facebook user identified as Kelvin Ingbaifegha, who shared the story on the social media platform, revealed that the couple had a quarrel and Oyinkro slapped his wife and tell her to shut up. Little did he know she was planning for revenge. She waited for him to sleep and then poured boiling water on him and fled their home.

Sanwo-olu says those responsible for Lekki shootings would be held accountable.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has said that those behind the shootings of protesters at the Lekki toll plaza on Tuesday, October 22, would be brought to book.

Legit.ng reports that the governor made this known in a statement by his chief press secretary, Gboyega Akosile, on the evening of Monday, October 26. The statement quoted the governor as speaking during an interview session on CNN, adding that the federal government and Lagos state government would ensure that anyone found culpable in the shooting would be held accountable for their actions.Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos fielding questions from CNN reporter on Lekki shootings.

He said:

.“We will be committed to a full investigation of what happened and people would be held accountable. They certainly would be held accountable. We would do everything possible to ensure that they are held accountable.
