Arsenal Agree to Return to Sign PSG Star Man for Free This Summer

Published

on

According to report in France, Arsenal haven’t given up on signing Layvin Kurzawa on a free transfer, despite not doing a deal in January. They’re still actively following the left-back, particularly with their continuing injury problems in the position.

Kieran Tierney is almost back, but we’ll have to wait and see how he returns from a few months out. Sead Kolasinac recently got his third injury of the last four months to leave him on the sidelines until the end of March.

Bukayo Saka is performing very well, but Mikel Arteta seems to want him at left-wing. No one is really nailing down the left-back spot right now. Perhaps selling one on (probably Kolasinac) and signing a replacement could be good business.

On the other hand, most Arsenal fans remain unconvinced about Kurzawa specifically. He’s been in and out of the PSG team this season, working as second-choice for much of it. On a free transfer, it’s not a big fee risk, but high wages could balance that out.

Tanguy Ndombele has opened up on the criticism thrown at him by Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho earlier in the year, Daily Mail.

The French midfielder made a £65million record signing from Lyon under former boss Mauricio Pochettino in the summer of 2019. But the Ndombele failed to live up to the billing which led to the Portuguese gaffer criticising his performance against Burnley at Turf Moore. Tanguy Ndombele: Mourinho did not hurt me neither did it motivate me. Photo by Daniel Leal-Olivas. Both manager and player had their differences, as the midfielder wanted a move out of England to join Barcelona or Bayern Munich. Mourinho sends stunning message to Tottenham stars which they won’t like after their victory against Burnley. Mourinho singled out the 23-year-old in a press conference after the game saying after the Burnley game saying:

“In the first half we didn’t have a midfield. “But I’m not going to run away and I have to say he [Ndombele] has had enough time to come to a different level.

“I know the Premier League is difficult and some players take a long time to adapt to a different league. But a player with his potential has to give us more than he is giving us, especially when you see how Lucas (Moura), (Giovani) Lo Celso and those players are playing. I was expecting more in the first half from him.”
