Arsenal squad required to self-quarantine

Published

on

It has been revealed that more than 100 players and staff at Arsenal could be required to self-quarantine after Mikel Arteta tested positive for Coronavirus. As people continue to take this less seriously than they should, none more so than the UK and USA governments, it might not be a bad idea for people who have been to The Emirates lately to start thinking about self-isolating.

This isn’t all about you getting sick, it’s about breaking the chains that allow this to spread.

Anyway, with all football suspended until at least April, the whole of Arsenal are in lock down and players and staffs are now locking themselves away – again, not only to stop themselves from getting it, but to break the chain that leads to the death of a stranger down the line.Arsenal squad

It was announced on Thursday evening that Arteta had tested positive. If you’re wondering why you are hearing about so many famous people catching the virus, that’s simply because they’re the ones getting tested.

People like you and me, we just have to take our chances, which is why it is imperative we all start thinking about our community, not just ourselves.

After the game PSG boss Thomas Tuchel said:

“He’s got a small injury to his adductor. He’ll be back after the break. I don’t think he can play for Brazil. The information that we have is that he’ll be back after the break.” Neymar is set to miss Ligue 1 games against Nantes and Rennes including their Champions League clash away to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig. However, the Brazil international is expected to be back for the clash against French rival Monaco on November 20.

Tuchel told RMC Sport about the Champions League game in midweek:

“It was necessary to take him off. “We now have to wait for a diagnosis. It was not serious pain, but he felt uncomfortabl, though I cannot be sure at this point.”

Neymar had tested positive for coronavirus before the start of the new season missing two games against Metz and Nice as well as being sent off against Marseille.
